Blueberry growers will find lots of information and supper, too,
at the informal twilight tour of University of Georgia Blueberry
Research Farm May 2 near Alapaha, Ga. The farm tour will begin at
5 p.m., and a cookout will follow.
The tour will offer a firsthand look at research and
demonstration projects on many aspects of blueberry production.
Experts in horticulture, plant pathology, entomology and weed
control will be there to interact with growers. Stay as long as
you like.
Please call ahead, though, let the organizers know you’re
planning to attend. Or let your county Extension Service agent
know you plan to come.
