The Georgia Pecan Growers Association will have its 36th annual
conference May 3 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry,
Ga.



The day-long program will begin with registration and coffee at 8
a.m. and will include a sponsored lunch. The GPGA business
meeting will be at 1:50 p.m.



University of Georgia scientists and other experts will share
vital information for pecan growers throughout the day.
Among the research topics will be reports on pecan scab
resistance, nitrogen fertilization, pecan leaf scorch, stink
bugs, fungicides, microbial control of pecan weevils and
communicating the healthfulness of pecans.
