The seventh season premiere of “Gardening in Georgia,” with host
Walter Reeves, will be April 9 on Georgia Public Television.
Each Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., “Gardening in Georgia”
brings you the latest tips for your
landscape. It’s produced by GPTV and the University of Georgia
College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
This week, join Reeves and special guest David Chambers, the
garden supervisor for Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden at Callaway
Gardens, to learn how to transplant your own tomato plants.
Chambers grows thousands of plants each year. He shows his
special techniques of planting, watering and sifting the soil so
the tomato plants may be successfully transplanted.
Be sure to watch this first show of the season and learn how to
grow those big, red, delicious tomatoes.
