Introduction to Farm Food Safety, Fulton County
This one-day course is an introduction to good agricultural practices. Small-scale fruit and vegetable growers will learn skills necessary to draft a food safety plan, identify safety concerns, and build knowledge on certifications and resources.
This event will take place on May 14th, 9am-3pm.
Location: Old Rucker Farm, 900 Rucker Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004
Registration closes on May 7th, 2025.
Lunch is included. Please email efs@uga.edu with any allergens or dietary restrictions after registering. Beverages and breakfast are not included.
We request participants bring a laptop or tablet that has a USB port. For cancellations, please email efs@uga.edu.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made a week or less before the event will not be refunded. Cancellations made prior to a week before the workshop will be issued a full refund. All workshops and courses are subject to cancellation by Food Science and Technology Extension. In this case, full refunds will be issued to all who have paid registration fees. Neither The University of Georgia nor Food Science and Technology Extension are required to reimburse any expenses made by the attendee prior to cancellation except for the registration fee.
