Not all of the plants that brighten your world are outside. More
and more, “landscaping” is going indoors.
For people who need to know how to install and maintain these new
gardens, the University of Georgia will host the Interior
Plantscape Workshop Friday, Sept. 27, at the Bamboo Farm and
Coastal Gardens in Savannah, Ga.
University of Georgia faculty and other experts will explore
keeping roots healthy, testing soil and water, pruning, lighting,
controlling diseases and insects and staying abreast of new
plants and cultivars. People who take part in the full workshop
will earn four pesticide credits.
The program will begin with 8 a.m. registration. It will end at 4
p.m. Lunch is provided. The fee is $40, and the deadline is Sept.
