The North Georgia Turfgrass Field Day May 21 in Gainesville, Ga.,
should be perfect for anyone who cares for the turf on golf
courses, sports fields, schoolyards or lawns.

The hands-on field day at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex (2 miles
east of Exit 22 off I-985 on Monroe Drive) will begin at 9 a.m.
It will end at 4 p.m.

The day will provide 5 hours of pesticide recertification
credits. It will feature lawn and landscape equipment, water,
turf diseases, weeds and other topics.

A $15 fee (or $10 for NGLTA members) covers the cost of
instruction, door prizes, lunch and the book, “2003 Turfgrass
Pest Control Recommendations.”
